GTS calibrations are developed for vehicles with all factory emissions equipment intact and functional. Features that remove or raise factory speed and rev limits are intended for closed-course use only. These calibrations are not CARB-certified, and the customer is responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, including the emissions and inspection requirements of their jurisdiction.

Engine Codes: DGXA / DJXA (EA211 Gen 2)
Fits: VW Jetta and Golf 2019 to 2021, 1.4 TSI. This is the EA211 Gen 2 car: BMTS (Bosch-Mahle) turbo, Bosch MED17.1.27 ECU. DGXA is the automatic, DJXA is the manual, and both run the same tune.
STAGE 1: 185 HP / 240 LB-TQ
STAGE 2: 190 HP / 275 LB-TQ
Info: A proper calibration for the 1.4 TSI, the response this engine should have shipped with. Sharper throttle, the lazy low end pulled out, and real midrange torque. Built for 91 to 93 octane and adapts to lower grades. It is a small turbo engine, so the honest gain is in drivability and torque, not a big peak number.
How to get tuned: OBD flash at any of our locations in 10 to 15 minutes, mail in ECU service with a 1 to 3 day turnaround, or remote with our cable.
Stages:
- Stage 1: No parts required. Around 185 hp and 240 lb-ft, up from 147 hp and 184 lb-ft stock. The strongest single step on the platform. Your manual or Aisin automatic takes the full torque, no transmission cap.
- Stage 2: Three inch downpipe, with intake and intercooler optional. Around 190 hp and 275 lb-ft, a big torque step. The BMTS turbo caps in the high 190s, so the real gain here is torque, not peak power.
- Stage 3: Hybrid turbo. Beyond the stock turbo this becomes a build, custom only. Message us and we will spec it with you.
Aisin automatic transmission tune (optional add-on): The 8 speed 09S automatic shifts for economy from the factory, with early upshifts and a slow kickdown. Almost no one tunes the Aisin because the calibration was never cracked. We cracked it. The transmission tune firms and quickens the shifts, raises the shift points, and matches the shift map to your Stage 1 powerband. DGXA automatic only, the DJXA manual does not use it.

Every calibration is written in house and the flashing tool is ours, not a rebadged package, and we never ask for remote access to your computer. Your original calibration is kept, so the car can go back to stock whenever you want it to. Canadian owners have ordered from us since 2014 and Canada is our second-largest market. The tune is delivered digitally, the cable is delivered within Canada with no customs and no import fees, we accept Canadian cards, and return shipping on a mail-in ECU is free. Anywhere else in the world, remote tuning needs the car, the cable and an internet connection, nothing else. We have tuned cars in Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Hungary, Puerto Rico, Panama, Costa Rica and Barbados.
